Fred J. Hughes, Jr., Esq. , Of Counsel Mr. Hughes is a 1993 graduate of Michigan State University's Honors College, with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. He graduated from the UCLA School of Law in 1996 and then clerked for the Honorable Alexander Menza, J.S.C. in Union County. Admitted to New Jersey (1996) and Pennsylvania (2007), Mr. Hughes has more than 17 years of experience in defending New Jersey physicians, nurses, hospitals and long term care facilities in medical negligence litigation. He has also practiced actively in Pennsylvania, defending hospitals, nurses and long term care facilities. Mr. Hughes is the Vice President of the Society for Healthcare Risk Management-New Jersey, which is the New Jersey chapter of ASHRM, the American Society For Healthcare Risk Management. Mr. Hughes has also given invited lectures to healthcare providers and facilities, long term care professionals and risk management professionals.
