Matthew E. Blackman joined the firm in 2016. Matt's diverse background includes undergraduate majors in biology and political science, graduate study in political science, and over 12 years' experience as an IT professional and consultant before earning his J.D. from the Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey.
Since his admission to the New Jersey Bar, and the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 2006, his legal career has included eight years working for prominent medical malpractice plaintiffs’ and defense firms, litigating multi-million dollar claims. His practice focuses on complex medical malpractice and personal injury cases, and he has substantial experience litigating cases involving the management of labor and delivery and the failure to timely diagnose and treat various types of cancer.
Matt was designated a Superlawyers Rising Star among personal injury and medical malpractice attorneys in 2014, 2015 and 2016, and looks forward to leveraging his professional experience to obtain outstanding results for the firm's clients.
